Enhance Broomfield

**2019 Program Update**
Funding for the Enhance Broomfield program was been approved by the Broomfield City Council as part of the City's 2019 budget. The following change has been enacted to the program as of January 1, 2018:
  • Applicants are limited to one award per year, starting on the date of the final award disbursement, and a maximum total award over two-years of $25,000.

In an effort to enhance Broomfield and its commercial areas, the City and County is investing $100,000 to help beautify local buildings.
“This new program is one more way we can support our small business community while enhancing the curb-appeal of our neighborhoods and community as a whole,” says Mayor Randy Ahrens.

The intent of this program is to:

  • Improve industrial and commercial properties in the community.
  • Promote the redevelopment of outdated, obsolete, and underutilized buildings so they can be brought back to productive use.
  • Facilitate the reduction of vacant buildings, and increase in property values among commercial and industrial properties.
  • Encourage improvements that increase accessibility by those with disabilities.
  • Assist small business in Broomfield with fewer than 50 full-time employees in Broomfield.
Each applicant is eligible for up to a $25,000 investment. Availability of funds is on a first-come, first-served basis, and only complete applications will be accepted. Applications may be submitted anytime during the year, as long as funds are available.
