Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF)

BNSF operates a rail line that runs through Broomfield, and passes many of our industrial areas.

Northwest Rail Line

The Northwest Rail Line is a 41-mile stretch of commuter rail that will travel from Denver Union Station to Longmont, passing through North Denver, Adams County, Westminster, Broomfield, Louisville, Boulder and Boulder County.

The first segment of the Northwest Rail Line from Denver Union Station to Westminster Station (71st Avenue and Irving Street) is proceeding as part of FasTracks. This first segment is 6.2 miles and scheduled for completion in 2016. FasTracks is also building the East Rail Line to Denver International Airport and the Gold Line to Arvada and Wheat Ridge.
